The Problem
She knows the door is open. She is not going to walk through it.
In a recent study, 82% of students across India had access to mental-health support. Not one used it. The help was there; being seen asking for it was not safe. In a collectivist setting — where distress is carried as duty and silence is the safer social choice — most students never make the walk. By the time someone does, the need is acute.

Dimple was built for the people who never walk through the door. It does not push harder at the door. It makes the door disappear.

The Insight
The barrier is identity. Remove it, and disclosure follows.
Every mental-health platform ever built follows the same sequence: collect identity first, promise to protect it second. In any culture where identification itself prevents help-seeking, that sequence is broken — identity is the single feature that makes the platform unusable for those who need it most. A zero-knowledge cryptographic token verifies institutional affiliation without ever revealing who holds it. Identification is not discouraged as policy; it is mathematically impossible.
Not private. Invisible. There is a difference — and it is the difference between someone asking for help or not. Every funded competitor clusters in one corner — reactive and identity-linked. Dimple alone holds the proactive, anonymous-by-architecture quadrant.
Dimple cannot see the person — and precisely because of that, it can see the condition.
Mental health is now a fundamental right. The mandate is the market.
On 25 July 2025, in Sukdeb Saha v. State of Andhra Pradesh & Ors. (2025 INSC 893), the Supreme Court of India declared the right to mental health integral to the right to life under Article 21 — issuing fifteen binding interim guidelines every educational institution must satisfy, legally enforceable under Articles 32 and 141.
For 266 million mandated students, this is institutional urgency at a scale no sales team could replicate. Dimple does not sell into education so much as answer a constitutional requirement institutions cannot meet with the infrastructure they have — satisfying all fifteen guidelines automatically, from platform data alone. The architecture is the compliance.

The Product
Be Ready and Be Supported.
Dimple does two distinct things, and the names matter — because students see them too. Be Ready is the proactive layer: prevention. A culturally built resource library, and the platform's quiet work of reaching toward students before a crisis. Be Supported is the responsive layer: an anonymous, ongoing conversation with a DAC-accredited counsellor, held over time through a persistent pseudonym.
Be ReadyBe Supported
What it is
Proactive prevention
Responsive human support
The student
Builds readiness on their own terms, anonymously
Talks to a counsellor, anonymously
Who is here
Most students, most of the time
The subset who need a human
How it begins
Self-directed use, plus proactive identification
The student reaches out, or the platform surfaces them
Door one — the student reaches out
Always open, and it comes first. Anonymity removes the shame and fear of exposure that keep students silent: a student who would never be seen entering a counsellor's office will message a platform that cannot name them.
Door two — the platform reaches out
The students in most difficulty are the least likely to raise their hand. To identify a student does not mean to discover who they are — it means to recognise that they need support. The architecture does the second without ever doing the first.
Two doors, one promise: no student is missed. Those who can ask are met when they ask; those who cannot are still found.

The Platform
Continuity without identity.
Proactive Intelligence Tokens
A single-use enrolment token, a persistent pseudonym, and a six-digit PIN stored only as an Argon2id hash. Routine use is anonymous; identity recovery is exceptional, justified, approved and audit-logged. The two systems never interact.
Continuity without identity
The persistent pseudonym means a counsellor holds a real, continuing relationship across weeks and years — the second session building on the first — while never knowing, and never being able to discover, who the student is.
Counsellor infrastructure
Trained, DAC-accredited counsellors during peak hours; 24/7 crisis escalation; full audit trail — all anonymous. Anonymous counsellor-matching uses hashed institutional affiliation, language preference, declared expertise and load — never identity.
The counsellor workspace
A need-ordered queue, profile cards, encrypted pseudonymous thread view, private continuity notes, an escalation flag that carries pseudonym and reason category only — never chat content — and the eight-category resource shelf.
The SUKHA framework
Population-level wellbeing measurement across five dimensions (S·U·K·H·A), banded Thriving / Coping / Struggling / Crisis-adjacent. One-click statutory compliance with no individual data exposed at any point.
Access everywhere
STAR Station kiosks and personal devices. 22-language architecture, 3G-ready — built for where infrastructure is weakest and stigma runs deepest, with zero dependency on school IT.
Absence as signal
A student who used the platform regularly and then stops is flagged as an early warning. A conventional service cannot see a no-show. Dimple can see the absence, and act on it.

Be Ready · Culturally Built Resources
Education First: A resource library built for collectivist cultures, not translated into them.
The unit of wellbeing is not the individual — it is the relationship. In South Asian settings distress presents somatically; help-seeking is shaped by family honour; and the family is both the main source of pressure and the deepest source of support. Dimple's eight resource categories are engineered around that reality, and each one feeds a SUKHA signal.
CategorySUKHA signalCollectivist design principle
RESET
S + H
Breathing, grounding and body-scan practices framed around collective calm — preparation for being present with family, not withdrawal from it.
BE READY
A · calendar
Exam-stress, result-day and performance tools. Acknowledges family expectation without pathologising it; reframes pressure as shared investment.
YOUR HOME
S
Holding internal feelings without creating family conflict; equilibrium framed as the foundation of being a good family member.
WALK TALL
K (inverse)
The most culturally critical. Shame navigation, not shame removal — honour validated as a genuine value while prevented from blocking self-care.
TOGETHER
S + H
Collectivist coping and peer-support literacy. Help-giving framed as a culturally valued act — often more accessible than seeking help for oneself.
ANCHOR
S + H · streaks
Two-to-five-minute daily micro-practices built for shared rooms and hostel life — no private space required.
CONNECTION
K (inv) + S
Romantic feelings, jealousy, comparison and social-media identity — where face and honour play out — within cultural expectations.
THE CODE
S
Psychoeducation and distress literacy — for the student's own understanding, or to help a peer. Readiness, not crisis response.
Every resource is reviewed for cultural resonance, not just translation accuracy, before publishing. Delivery is Telugu-first for the AP pilot, with Hindi and English, on a 22-language, i18n-ready architecture. BE READY resources surface automatically at exam, result and admission windows — the platform anticipates the dip after results day and is alongside before it arrives. The SUKHA Council governs the library's clinical and cultural integrity at every level.
०७
Proactive Intelligence · The Readiness Engine
A readiness engine.
Every student exists on the platform as an anonymous token, and everything they do leaves a behavioural trail attached to that token — never to a name. Using the resource library is itself the signal: the platform reads which resources a student turns to, when they are active against their own baseline — and when they go quiet. These combine into a single SUKHA band that quietly orders the counsellor's queue by need. The platform finds; the counsellor judges.
The instrument beneath it is the SUKHA Check-In — a 13-item collectivist screening tool re-grounded in South and Southeast Asian idioms of distress. The student never sees a score, band or label; to them it is a gentle, private check-in, never a test.
In December 2025, Orygen secured A$14M from Wellcome to evolve MOST — built inside the clinic, identity-bound. We are not a smaller MOST. We are the platform for everyone MOST's model cannot reach.
०१
The individual
Weekly readiness program and just-in-time nudges, timed to predicted vulnerability windows.
०२
The counsellor
Ambient note-taking returning ~30 minutes per practitioner per day, plus triage support.
०३
The institution
Distress forecasting around predictable pressure periods, fully anonymised by design.
०४
The health system
Precision routing that matches genuine need to the right level of care.

The Moat · Category, IP & Data
Defining and leading the anonymous-architecture category. Globally.
A category of one. Every funded competitor clusters across three quadrants — reactive-and-identified, reactive-and-anonymous, proactive-and-identified. Dimple operates alone in the fourth: proactive, anonymous-by-architecture, the quadrant every incumbent's identity-first model structurally cannot enter. The architecture works in any culture, sector or jurisdiction where consequences follow visibility — which is why the category is global from day one.
The data asset. The Be Ready library and SUKHA framework together generate anonymous, longitudinal data on help-seeking shaped by region, crisis signals coded by language, and cultural triggers across borders — the largest anonymous mental-health intelligence dataset ever built. Once an institution relies on the SUKHA standard, Dimple is embedded. Once the dataset spans continents, it becomes irreplaceable.

SUKHA Measurement Framework
Population-level wellbeing measurement across five dimensions and 22 languages — institutional intelligence without exposing any individual.
Anchored by Australian Provisional No. 2025904712, the PCT international filing, and the Indian complete application via Mulla & Mulla ahead of the October 2026 Paris Convention deadline. Post-quantum migration (CRYSTALS-Kyber, CRYSTALS-Dilithium, SPHINCS+) is claimed as a forward-looking property, with formal freedom-to-operate analysis against verifiable credentials, zk-proof systems and self-sovereign identity.
The architect of UPI sits on this board.

MVP to Scale
The pilot build is the foundation. The intelligence layer is sequenced on top.
A ten-week, fixed-price, milestone-gated build with Kairiz Technology — deployed on AWS in-region across nine delivery workstreams — delivers the Andhra Pradesh MVP for August 2026, and lays, by design, every foundation the readiness engine needs to scale. All fifteen guidelines are demonstrable from platform data alone. The architecture is the compliance.
०१
A stable identity to learn against
The persistent pseudonym is the precondition for any compounding relationship — built in the MVP, not deferred.
०२
A consistent outcome signal
The SUKHA Index gives the learning system its feedback loop, aggregated under differential privacy.
०३
A human network in the loop
Native-speaking, DAC-accredited counsellors lead risk detection, with AI augmenting — never replacing — judgement.
०४
A safety architecture that holds it all
Escalation-first, never engagement-first. Always disclosed as AI, DPDP by design, tested for psychological harm.
MVP · AUG 2026
Anonymous access, human support, SUKHA measurement, statutory compliance — live at 50,000-student scale.
SUKHA Forecast; the anonymous cohort mirror; the consent-gated context capsule; vernacular voice-first access.
PHASE 4 · VERTICALS
The same engine re-tuned per domain — workplace, healthcare over ABDM/UHI, defence, insurance, safe disclosure.
We are not building a chatbot that waits for someone to break. We are building a readiness engine — and the MVP is its foundation, not its ceiling.

How Dimple Scales · The AI-First Operating System
Not AI-enabled. AI-first — by construction.
The WEF's test is simple: remove the AI from an AI-enabled organisation and productivity dips; remove it from an AI-first organisation and the operating model breaks. Dimple passes by construction — the proactive identification, the SUKHA measurement, the readiness engine are the product. Prof. Abbi Sharma, who has written the definitive practitioner analysis of the framework, sits on this board as Governance Reviewer.
Where legacy platforms are systems of record, Dimple runs an Intelligence Engine: every resource opened, every check-in, every conversation and every escalation strengthens the engine — anonymously — so intelligence compounds as a strategic asset that can never be replicated by a later entrant.
Knowing AI exists, would you build the organisation this way from the ground up? Dimple is the answer — it was.
SPEED
The resource-efficacy flywheel: the platform learns which resources move the SUKHA Index for which profiles, promotes what works and retires what doesn't — with the Monash validation pathway testing hypotheses on live pilot data.
SCALE
Scale intelligence, not headcount. One engine, one outcome currency, one set of safety rails serve 50,000 students or 50 million; ambient tooling returns ~30 minutes per counsellor per day. This is the structure behind the ~92% gross margin.
SCOPE
Accumulated intelligence opens each new vertical at a fraction of the cost of the last. The engine trained in education re-points to the employee, the patient, the soldier, the survivor — each deployment enriching the shared dataset.
११
Education First, Not Education-Bound
One architecture. Ten-plus segments.
The same proactive, anonymous, persistent engine — re-tuned — is the readiness engine for an employee, a patient, a survivor, an athlete. The architecture works in any setting where consequences follow visibility. We do not build a new company for each vertical.
Education
Constitutional compliance — the platform students will actually use.
Insurance
Population-level risk foresight with zero individual exposure.
Workplace
The EAP they'll actually use — utilisation today below 5%.
Defence
Help-seeking without a career consequence — no record.
Healthcare
The conversation the doctor cannot start — anonymous triage over ABDM.
Government
Statutory compliance from platform data alone — wellbeing infrastructure for the state.
Domestic violence
No trace. No trail. No risk.
Fintech
The support they will not ask for out loud.
Elite sport
The first longitudinal squad readiness signal.

Traction & Partnerships
A signed pilot, two universities, and the network to deliver it.
The pilot — Andhra Pradesh50,000
students · ~40 junior colleges · 5 districts
Signed MOU with the Commissionerate of Collegiate Education. DFAT-facilitated via the Australian Consul-General Chennai. Go-live August 2026, delivered Telugu-first. If it works here, it works everywhere.
Co-endorse the Dimple Accreditation Course. A SUKHA research partnership folds Monash's validation-study design into the platform from day one; grant co-applications in train (ARC Linkage, Wellcome Trust India).
CCI — delivery partner10,000
counsellor national network
Co-delivers the DAC — the non-negotiable gate to the platform — and supplies the Telugu-speaking cohort for the pilot. Certification at US$250/counsellor seeds a mandatory training market scaling toward 50,000+ counsellors nationally.
Anonymity cannot mean abandonment. Every DAC-accredited counsellor is assessed on the graduated escalation protocol before they operate — the clinical governance that makes the anonymous model safe.
