Be Ready
Proactive prevention
Builds readiness on their own terms, anonymously
Most students, most of the time
Self-directed use, plus proactive identification
Seed round · closing 30 July 2026
Designed to help millions. Anonymous, patent-protected and the largest mental health data set ever captured.
The Problem
In a recent study, 82% of students across India had access to mental-health support. Not one used it. The help was there; being seen asking for it was not safe. In a collectivist setting — where distress is carried as duty and silence is the safer social choice — most students never make the walk. By the time someone does, the need is acute.
Dimple was built for the people who never walk through the door. It does not push harder at the door. It makes the door disappear.
Why Now · The Mandate
On 25 July 2025, in Sukdeb Saha v. State of Andhra Pradesh & Ors. (2025 INSC 893), the Supreme Court of India declared the right to mental health integral to the right to life under Article 21 — issuing fifteen binding interim guidelines every educational institution must satisfy, legally enforceable under Articles 32 and 141.
For 266 million mandated students, this is institutional urgency at a scale no sales team could replicate. Dimple does not sell into education so much as answer a constitutional requirement institutions cannot meet with the infrastructure they have — satisfying all fifteen guidelines automatically, from platform data alone. The architecture is the compliance.
The Platform
A single-use enrolment token, a persistent pseudonym, and a six-digit PIN stored only as an Argon2id hash. Routine use is anonymous; identity recovery is exceptional, justified, approved and audit-logged. The two systems never interact.
The persistent pseudonym means a counsellor holds a real, continuing relationship across weeks and years — the second session building on the first — while never knowing, and never being able to discover, who the student is.
Trained, DAC-accredited counsellors during peak hours; 24/7 crisis escalation; full audit trail — all anonymous. Anonymous counsellor-matching uses hashed institutional affiliation, language preference, declared expertise and load — never identity.
A need-ordered queue, profile cards, encrypted pseudonymous thread view, private continuity notes, an escalation flag that carries pseudonym and reason category only — never chat content — and the eight-category resource shelf.
Population-level wellbeing measurement across five dimensions (S·U·K·H·A), banded Thriving / Coping / Struggling / Crisis-adjacent. One-click statutory compliance with no individual data exposed at any point.
STAR Station kiosks and personal devices. 22-language architecture, 3G-ready — built for where infrastructure is weakest and stigma runs deepest, with zero dependency on school IT.
A student who used the platform regularly and then stops is flagged as an early warning. A conventional service cannot see a no-show. Dimple can see the absence, and act on it.
Be Ready · Culturally Built Resources
The unit of wellbeing is not the individual — it is the relationship. In South Asian settings distress presents somatically; help-seeking is shaped by family honour; and the family is both the main source of pressure and the deepest source of support. Dimple's eight resource categories are engineered around that reality, and each one feeds a SUKHA signal.
S + H
Breathing, grounding and body-scan practices framed around collective calm — preparation for being present with family, not withdrawal from it.
A · calendar
Exam-stress, result-day and performance tools. Acknowledges family expectation without pathologising it; reframes pressure as shared investment.
S
Holding internal feelings without creating family conflict; equilibrium framed as the foundation of being a good family member.
K (inverse)
Shame navigation, not shame removal — honour validated as a genuine value while prevented from blocking self-care.
S + H
Collectivist coping and peer-support literacy. Help-giving framed as a culturally valued act — often more accessible than seeking help for oneself.
S + H · streaks
Two-to-five-minute daily micro-practices built for shared rooms and hostel life — no private space required.
K (inv) + S
Romantic feelings, jealousy, comparison and social-media identity — where face and honour play out — within cultural expectations.
S
Psychoeducation and distress literacy — for the student's own understanding, or to help a peer. Readiness, not crisis response.
Every resource is reviewed for cultural resonance, not just translation accuracy, before publishing. Delivery is Telugu-first for the AP pilot, with Hindi and English, on a 22-language, i18n-ready architecture. The SUKHA Council governs the library's clinical and cultural integrity at every level.
The Moat · Category, IP & Data
A category of one. Every funded competitor clusters across three quadrants — reactive-and-identified, reactive-and-anonymous, proactive-and-identified. Dimple operates alone in the fourth: proactive, anonymous-by-architecture, the quadrant every incumbent's identity-first model structurally cannot enter.
The data asset. The Be Ready library and SUKHA framework together generate anonymous, longitudinal data on help-seeking shaped by region, crisis signals coded by language, and cultural triggers across borders — the largest anonymous mental-health intelligence dataset ever built.
Proactive Intelligence Token Architecture
The foundational IP — cryptographic verification of institutional affiliation without ever revealing identity.
Anonymous Counsellor-Matching Protocol
Professional support without digital identity traces — matching users to trained counsellors while preserving complete anonymity.
SUKHA Measurement Framework
Population-level wellbeing measurement across five dimensions and 22 languages — institutional intelligence without exposing any individual.
Anchored by Australian Provisional No. 2025904712, the PCT international filing, and the Indian complete application via Mulla & Mulla ahead of the October 2026 Paris Convention deadline. The architect of UPI sits on this board.
MVP to Scale
A ten-week, fixed-price, milestone-gated build with Kairiz Technology — deployed on AWS in-region across nine delivery workstreams — delivers the Andhra Pradesh MVP for August 2026, and lays, by design, every foundation the readiness engine needs to scale. All fifteen guidelines are demonstrable from platform data alone.
The persistent pseudonym is the precondition for any compounding relationship — built in the MVP, not deferred.
The SUKHA Index gives the learning system its feedback loop, aggregated under differential privacy.
Native-speaking, DAC-accredited counsellors lead risk detection, with AI augmenting — never replacing — judgement.
Escalation-first, never engagement-first. Always disclosed as AI, DPDP by design, tested for psychological harm.
Anonymous access, human support, SUKHA measurement, statutory compliance — live at 50,000-student scale.
Token-bound learning; the weekly readiness program; just-in-time nudges; counsellor ambient note-taking.
SUKHA Forecast; the anonymous cohort mirror; the consent-gated context capsule; vernacular voice-first access.
The same engine re-tuned per domain — workplace, healthcare over ABDM/UHI, defence, insurance, safe disclosure.
We are building a readiness engine — and the MVP is its foundation, not its ceiling.
Traction & Partnerships
students · ~40 junior colleges · 5 districts
Signed MOU with the Commissionerate of Collegiate Education. DFAT-facilitated via the Australian Consul-General Chennai. Go-live August 2026, delivered Telugu-first.
Steering Committee
Co-endorse the Dimple Accreditation Course. A SUKHA research partnership folds Monash's validation-study design into the platform from day one.
counsellor national network
Co-delivers the DAC and supplies the Telugu-speaking cohort for the pilot. Certification at US$250/counsellor seeds a mandatory training market scaling toward 50,000+ counsellors nationally.
Anonymity cannot mean abandonment. Every DAC-accredited counsellor is assessed on the graduated escalation protocol before they operate — the clinical governance that makes the anonymous model safe.
